Lately we’ve had some INSANE and hard to find craft beers on tap! We figure, we can’t stop now! So, we’ve partnered up with Karl Strauss to bring you an evening of rare specialties. They’ve pulled out the big guns for this one and dusted off some amazing beers that were hiding in the back of their cellar. They were waiting for a special occasion and we figured June 14th, 2016 from 5PM to 10PM at the Anaheim Packing House is as good of a time as any!

DR. HARVEY'S IPA
IPA, 7.9% ABV, 65 IBU
This delicious American IPA showcases hops front and center! A nice malty profile allows citrus and tropical fruit to shine through. Plus, it's brewed by our favorite Karl beer rep., Loic!! Shout out to that handsome bearded man!
WRECK ALLEY aged in GRAND MARNIER BARRELS
RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT, 9.5% ABV, 50 IBU
A big, intensely flavored dark ale that ends with a warming, bittersweet finish. The Grand Marnier barrels give off notes of chocolate and oak. The addition of orange peel is the perfect accompaniment to the rich flavor.
JUST A LIL’ BRETT
WILD ALE, 5% ABV, 8 IBU
Fermented with Brettanomyces and finished with a Lactobacillus for complex flavors of pineapple, toasted malt, earth, leather and a subtle sour finish.
WRECK ALLEY aged in BOURBON BARRELS
RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT, 9.5% ABV, 50 IBU
Brewed with darkly kilned malts, cocoa nibs, and Ethiopian coffee beans, then barrel aged for 12 months in Jack Daniel whiskey barrels. This gives flavors of dark chocolate, espresso and vanilla bean.
27TH ANNIVERSARY aged in BOURBON BARRELS
RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT, 9.5% ABV, 50 IBU
Aged in American oak bourbon barrels for 12 months, this stout has an abundance of cocoa flavors and roasty-warmth.
DOUBLE CHOCOLATE STOUT aged in PAPPY VAN WINKLE BARRELS
RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT, 9.5% ABV, 50 IBU
Aged in American oak PAPPY VAN WINKLE barrels for 12 months, this stout is big and boozy with hints of bourbon and toasted oak.
DEUX AMIS CHERRY (Monkey Paw Collaboration)
WILD ALE, 8.3% ABV, 34 IBU
Aged for close to 3 years this expertly blended combination of two spontaneously fermented barrel-aged wild ales. The cherries were added in for a secondary fermentation that gives this complex beer a tart cherry finish.
BOURBON AGED TORTUGAS
BELGIAN QUAD, 11.1% ABV, 25 IBU
This Belgian-inspired Quadruple Ale has a delicate union of toffee, dark fruits and warming spices. This specialty version is aged in oak bourbon barrels.
2015 PUMPKIN SPICED AMBER (cask)
AMBER, 4.5 ABV, 15 IBU
The original Karl Amber Session beer cask-conditioned with pumpkin spice. Flavors of sweet caramel and lightly toasted malts are balanced by fall flavors of pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
From the looks of this lineup, you better get your livers and your tastebuds ready! Even our kitchen is in on this big night, bringing you some serious flavor with specialty dinner and dessert just for the event!
