Summer is officially here, so throw on your best tank top and flip flops and get out of the house, because our brew neighbors from the north are coming to visit!

On June 23rd, 2015 A.D., you can come get a taste of the central coast! From 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. at our Costa Mesa location, we’ll be hosting one of our very favorite breweries - FIRESTONE WALKER! Fresh off the heels of their annual invitational, you will not believe the beers that they’ve set aside for us. Check out some of the magic they are bringing down with them...

Easy Jack
Session IPA - 4.5% ABV
Brewmaster Matt Brynildson went to the mountain and returned with a vision for a different kind of Session IPA: one that would be brewed and dry hopped with a globetrotting selection of new hop varieties from Europe, New Zealand and North America. He foresaw a beer that would deliver massive hop aromas, a signature malt balance and an empty glass before you knew what hit you - and so the newest member of their Jack IPA family was born!

805
Blonde Ale - 4.7% ABV
A light, refreshing blonde ale crafted for the California lifestyle. Subtle malt sweetness is balanced by a touch of hops, creating a versatile beer with a clean finish. 805 is the perfect followup to that ultimate surf session or to reward a hard day's work.

Pale 31
California Pale - 4.9% ABV
A tribute to our home state of California – the 31st to be added to the Union. Beautiful floral and citrus hop aromas greet the nose with undertones of lightly toasted malt. Crisp pale and crystal malts offer a hint of sweetness. Subtle hop bitterness offers a refreshing finish. Perfect for a sunny California day at the beach or BBQ with friends, Pale 31 represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state.

Bretta Weisse
Berliner Weisse - 4.9% ABV
Imagine yourself in Berlin’s Tiergarten enjoying this refreshing Berliner Weisse-inspired beer on a warm summer’s day. Bretta Weisse honors the traditional beverage of the great Prussian capital, Berlin. Fredrick the Great was trained to brew it, and Napoleon’s troops called it “the champagne of the North”. Firm estery notes of stone and tropical fruit lead to Funky, yeasty, citrus aromas.

Double Barrel Ale (DBA)
British Pale Ale - 5.0% ABV
Firestone's flagship brew. It highlights barrel-fermented batches from their patented Firestone Union blended with beer fermented in stainless steel. It opens with a biscuity toasted malt aroma and a hint of oak and vanilla. Pale malts create a smooth malty middle with ribbons of caramel, English toffee and toasted oak. A tribute to English pales traditionally fermented in cask.

Pivo 
Hoppy Pilsner - 5.3% ABV
Everything we love about classic a German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the Lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, they dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.

Union Jack
American IPA - 7.5% ABV
An aggressively hopped West Coast-style IPA. Union Jack showcases exceptional dry hop character with stunning pineapple, citrus and piney aromas on the nose accompanied by honey-like malt aromatics. Double dry hopping brings bold grapefruit, tangerine and citrus flavors that are contrasted by pale malt sweetness to balance this intense brew. A true tribute to the style that put the West Coast on the craft beer map.

Opal
Dry Hopped Saison - 7.5% ABV
Bringing down the Farmhouse! Their interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemongrass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast creates a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious, rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

Wookie Jack
Unfiltered Black IPA - 8.3% ABV
A unique twist on the Cascadian Dark Ale style. Wookey Jack offers true hop aroma to rival most IPAs, with pungent citrus and herbal hop nuances, a hint of peppery rye and earthiness on the nose. Big roasty malt flavors with balanced hop bitterness and spicy rye offer a full and complex texture with a refined bittered finish. A truly different IPA for dark beer fans.

Double Jack
American Imperial IPA - 9.5% ABV
A dangerously drinkable Double IPA. Double Jack opens up with bright grapefruit and tangerine American hop aromas. Beautifully crafted undertones of stone fruit are revealed upon first sip, followed by the essence of blue basil and pine. A sturdy pale and crystal malt backbone brings balance to high hop intensity. Complex and aggressively hopped, and flawlessly balanced.

Stickee Monkee
Central Coast Quad - 13.4% ABV
A Belgian Quad by recipe, but aging it in spirits barrels garners its own category: Central Coast Quad. A beer formulated to sit on the sweeter and malty side so that they could utilize it for blending. Turbinado brown sugar from Mexico and Belgian candi sugar add wonderful molasses flavors. It has a full body and lush texture with barrel expression all over this beer: toasted oak, coconut, leather and cigar tobacco.
